2011 (Spectacle of Wealth x Alexa Katherine) Sev. 6-7" fl. 24-27" sc. M 15-20 buds. Fertile both ways. The flowers have been a favorite from their maiden bloom. The rose red blooms have a large green throat and wide, ruffled gold edges. The ruffles go almost all the way to the midrib. What makes the flowers even more interesting is that the color slowly intensifies as it moves toward the petal edges, or bleeds as it approaches the throat. The plants have good rust resistance and are cold hardy. Truly unique and distinctive.
